"Warning-Do not insurance with State Farm. I had been paying into this policy and when something actually happened and I needed to use my insurance, my claim was denied. Here is the story: A piece of my tiled bathroom ceiling fell. Yes, the ceiling was tiled and there were no leaks. I called Servepro to come and prepare the estimate and do the inspection. It seems that the shower body from the upstairs apartment had an internal leak. These two apartments are in a home I own. There was no outward damage indicating there was a problem so it was only identified with a piece of the ceiling of this bathroom falling. Unless I had a clue there was a leak, I could not have known. Our claim was denied as it was stated by the inspector that this was an ongoing issue. It certainly was not. I would never have had anyone use a shower if there was a hint that a piece of ceiling could have collapsed and hurt or even kill a person. This is the reason a person carries insurance: for an unforseen event that could not have been predicted via an outward problem. Do not bother using allstate or this agency. A waste of money and time."
